
Lucille had a passion for reading, art, gardening, travel, animals, playing canasta and dominos. Together, they enjoyed forty-three years of marriage. On December 27, 1977, Lucille married Rosendo Gomez Gutierrez. They had three children, 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Lucille married James Calvin Coonce on June 22, 1945. Lucille was born on Monday, Februto Burl Clayton and Hettie Cates Crump in Parks, Arkansas. Lucille is survived by her daughter and son in law, Becky and Allen Hebert of Katy, Texas and her daughter and son-in-law-law, Sherry and Terry Sasser of Floresville, Texas sisters, Euva Lee Scott of Tyler, Texas, Doris Ross of Dumas, Arkansas, brother, Bobby Dale Crump of West Monroe, Louisiana, fifteen grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl Clayton Crump and Hettie Cates Crump, her brothers, Cedric Crump and Bryce Crump, her loving husband, Rosendo Gutierrez and her daughter, Linda Walters. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She taught in elementary and junior high school in Morgan City, Houma, and Lafayette, Louisiana, and Terrell, Mesquite, and North Richland Hills, Texas. Lucille had a long and successful career as a schoolteacher of Art, Science, and English. She attended Odessa Junior College in Odessa, Texas, Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, and received her bachelor’s degree in Education from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas.
